All settlements will contain resource items, most will contain destructible objects, and some will contain a Panay Statue, Colonel or a pipeline (I think no more than one of these per location - certainly more than this is very rare). Destroying pipeline stations (by hacking them)Īll locations than can be discovered can be "completed" by performing the above actions within that settlement.Collecting faction items (Skulls, Black Boxes, Drug Drops - shown by blue dots on the map).Collecting resource items (Vehicle Parts, Armor Parts, Weapon Parts, Cash Stashes).Destroying Sabotage Destructible Objects.Discovering locations (undiscovered locations shown by yellow dots on the map).races, shown by the checkered flag icons on the map) However there are several actions that count towards completion as measured within the game. )Īgency missions, faction missions and the stronghold takeovers are the only structured "missions" within the game. And that would be most meaningful if it pushed Clone Force 99 into being less apathetic to others. At the end of the day, only you can decide when you've had enough of the game. It's like a climax for his character that could end with some big sacrifice. Now, he's been reunited with Rex to serve some greater purpose. Near the end of the Clone Wars, the Republic found out that Echo was alive, and the Bad Batch was part of rescuing him.įrom a bird's eye view, Echo's time with Clone Force 99 looks like a detour. Later in the war, he went to Lola Sayu, where he was injured and presumed dead. He started as a member of Domino Squadron, and after graduating from his Clone training program, he joined Rex as part of the 501st Legion. More than the hints, though, it's starting to feel like Echo's story is coming to a close. He was simply stating a fact, but again, it felt like he was hinting at something long-term. Second, in "The Crossing," Tech mentioned that Clone Force 99 would be a squad long after Echo was gone. For one, Omega hugging him in "Truth and Consequences" felt like more than a temporary goodbye. That might finally make them care enough to become involved - as a way to avenge him.Īt the moment, there aren't any real signs that point toward Echo's death, but there were a few minor hints. If it wasn't a personal appearance by the reclusive Palpatine, it can only be one thing: Echo's death. At the moment, they don't want anything to do with galactic affairs, so there needs to be something big to pull them into the picture. So, the Bad Batch eventually needs to get involved with that. The thing is, Palpatine introducing Stormtroopers and casting aside Clones is the main plot of the series. Because they were different, they had never liked the "Reg" Clones, so they were fairly apathetic to Palpatine's creation of Stormtroopers. Sure, they were sad that a member of their squad had moved on, but they weren’t very sympathetic to his cause. Yet "The Crossing" just showed that Bad Batch didn't care why Echo left. That's one reason why Echo left with Rex - to help his Clone brothers. Palpatine created Stormtroopers in "Truth and Consequences," and that means that the Clones' usefulness has a dwindling shelf life.
